This past weekend, I had the pleasure of joining our Postulants for a trip to New York and New Jersey to visit some of our friaries and ministries. One of the highlights of the trip was Saint Francis Village, a non-profit farming ministry that seeks to create sustainable agriculture-based solutions to address poverty and hunger in developing nations. Located in Hardwick, NJ, this ministry was founded by Fr. Francis Kim, OFM with the help of the Korean community in New York and New Jersey. It was really a wonderful experience to see such amazing work being done by such dedicated people! Plus the Korean food was amazing!
